Experience and Distinctions
David is an educator, workshop leader, keynote presenter, recording artist and past recipient of The Parents' Choice Gold Award for Children's music. He is the author of 3 books including Teaching Empathy and The School of Belonging, and his books are used in teacher and administrator training all over the world.
He has been featured in the NY Times, National Public Radio and on WABC TV for his teaching of empathy as a bully prevention strategy. David is best known for the use of music through his signature reflective practice: Music Dialogue for Inner Action (MDIA)
